Scoil Diarmada
30 years later ....
Updated: Feb 28, 2019
On October 24th for the first time in 30 years or more Scoil Diarmada took part in a Camogie Blitz in St. Laurences. 27 girls from 3rd - 5th travelled to play against 3 other teams, Kilcullen, Athy and Crookstown. Three matches were played and all 27 girls got a chance to play. They were magnificent. Some of our girls have just joined this year and they played with great heart, enthusiasm and energy. Our players from last year proved thier skill on the field as they got the chance to put everything the learned from last years training sessions into practice. Scoil Diarmada girls represented their school with wonderful sportsmanship and were great ambassadors for our school. A very enjoyable day was had by all and we are very proud of our up and coming camogie players.
